The Arts

Linking Art Through Transformative Programming.

We believe in the concept that art is significant to the life of a community and nourishment of human development. Therefore, a commitment has been made to promote the cultural and social importance of the arts through programs, initiatives and alliances.

The goal of The Arts facet is to increase and expand art activity throughout our communities. We create and support art-related educational opportunities for minority youth. Providing art projects for our NSBE Jr participants such as “Punk Entomology” and a host of craft projects coinciding with healthy lifestyles, and crafts supporting our “Read a Loud” STEAM program activities. We have established a recent partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of Garden City with the goal of sowing the seed of deeper creativity for our target communities.
